Parklands Court Nursing Home is made up of six separate houses designed specifically to suit our residents' needs. We are situated in the friendly suburb of Bloxwich, on the local bus route with two parks, a library and shops all within walking distance.
The layout and relaxed atmosphere is perfect for elderly residents, and we offer several kinds of care, including nursing, respite, palliative and convalescence care, as well as residential care for those living with dementia.
Each of our houses is surrounded by beautiful landscaped grounds with lovely patio areas and a wonderfully relaxing sensory garden.
In addition to person centred care, we provide nursing staff to support residents who require qualified nursing care.
24-hour care and assistance provided for those living with dementia, with a lifestyle profile created to make them feel safe and comfortable.
We offer 24-hour personal support to those with a condition that requires frequent specialised, qualified nursing care.
Round the clock care in a safe, comfortable environment for up to six weeks. Perfect for carers who are ill, on holiday or just need a break.
Care for those recovering from surgery or illness, through a combination of rest appropriate exercise and balanced diet.
We provide respectful pro-active care for residents and relatives in their last days of life. We ensure that their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are considered and met.
We're always striving to improve our treatments and services so feedback from residents and relatives is very important to us. The results of this help us provide the best care possible.
We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This helps us to identify how we can deliver person-centred care for the people living in Bupa homes.
A good activity program is a vital part of the care we provide. We try to ensure our residents have something interesting and fun to do every day.
At Parklands Court there is a range of activities, specially designed to reflect our residents' interests and abilities. We have a dedicated activities room where we hold musical afternoons, games and quizzes. Gardening and baking are also very popular.
We organise regular outings to local places of interest, including Sandwell Valley Farm, the Walsall illuminations as well as local parks and garden centres.
Local entertainers and the mobile library visit regularly. Every month there's a special event linked to the season – like Mother's Day and Burns' Night. Friends and family are welcome to join in as often as they like.
Mealtimes are an important part of our residents' day - a chance for them to get together and chat over a delicious, nutritious meal. Likes, dislikes and dietary requirements are discussed with every resident and our expert chefs use only the finest ingredients.
We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. If you would like to speak to the home manager when you visit, you can make an appointment by calling us first.
Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.
This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.Ask us a question
At Parklands Court some of our well-furnished bedrooms boast wonderful views over the surrounding landscaped gardens. Many of the rooms are en-suite.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own keepsakes with them ornaments, photographs, even smaller items of furniture, room permitting. This helps make their room feel more homely.

There’s a lot to figure out when it comes to funding. Pop in for a visit and we will be happy to talk it over.
